I faced many situations the management asked me to close my eyes and to conclude without supporting, no management support or even investing in employees other than e-learning
Entering this organization is not that easy, as all CPAs and with Bachelors degree in accounting wants to join this Big 4 Company. A typical day at work will require you to be competitive and constantly updated on technical knowledge in accounting in order for you to response correctly on clients query. Each employee were treated fairly regardless of the race and nationality. Top management are constantly involve in the day to day activities of the firm.

Depending on your nature of the Job you may spend most of your time at client's locations rather than working at office. However, when you are in office you have your own desk to do your work fitted with all necessary electric plug-ins, you will also have printing facilities available to take print outs of documents. Kitchen facilities are also there and free self-service tea and coffee is available. I have learned a great deal while working at Deloitte Middle East and I have enhanced my Auditing skills. Work culture depends on which office you work for. Generally it is professional environment but you may face work politics in some offices but often. It becomes extremely busy after 31 December until June the following year if you are working in Audit Department. Its ideal for someone who has passion to learn and improve their skills because one will face a new challenge daily while working for Deloitte.

Worked in the company for more than 4 years. - Good pay and benefits - Diversified client industry experience - Very poor staff planning and management - Unrealistic expectation from staff give the low budget and fees with clients. - Major drawback was some "Partner" does note take ownership of the files and clients. - Grown and promotions in the company are very subjective and not linked to your actual performance. - You speak up and show off if you want to grow in the firm of else, how much efforts you put in does not count.

You would be expected day in and day out to meet your deadline. There will hardly be any time for your personal life. The people that work along you become your family, you sleep, eat and work along side them. However, the most agonizing part of the job is that you do not have any time to yourself. Pressure keeps mounting during peak seasons depending on the department you work.
Very long hours
This job is very demanding and the staff needs to be committed on a daily basis. Client facing and constant interaction is important. Tough deadlines have to be met and the quality of the work needs to be of top standard.
