As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Regional Sales Manager position at our United Arab Emirates (UAE) location.
OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the strategic planning, guidance, direction and management of a sales team within an established sales territory focusing on meeting corporate sales initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the image of B/E CM to the customers
Create strategic business plans reflective of:
Constructing a full profile of customer's overall corporate strategy, operating priorities, and major marketing initiatives/timetables
Obtain and forward useful competitive intelligence
Understand key elements of relevant supplier measurement programs
Maintain formal organizational charts as well as an understanding of key decision making processes and influential individuals
Build relationship with industry and key customer senior executives. This includes relationships at the employee, managerial, and executive levels in purchasing, engineering, maintenance, and marketing
Responsible for business development within a specific region
Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets or identify new business opportunities
Assist BE CM Directors and Managers to formulate, implement and execute account strategies and marketing plans. This includes:
A comprehensive, written strategy for managing the account
A summary of major opportunities for all BE CM product groups in the next 12 - 18 months, identification of the critical success factors, and specific initiatives/dates of when they will be achieved. This needs to be coordinated with the appropriate BE CMG functional groups
Provide leadership to the inside sales organization in determining sales and support opportunities with key customer
Responsible for achieving sales revenue, profit and/or expense objectives
Manage strategic distributor relationship within a specific region
Be an effective team leader in managing all important issues for the customer
Work with the appropriate BE CMG functional personnel and vendor personnel to ensure that all business and technical issues are identified and progress is being made towards closure in a timeframe that meets customer expectations
Point person on all assigned customer value added service or, long term sales agreement proposals and presentations
Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and value added services
Attain monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and sales margins
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Job Requirements :
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 7 years experience in Sales, Sales Management and Customer Relations
Ability to "sell up" in an organization
Able to travel within the USA and/or globally. Be able to travel
Good working ability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Good oral and written communication in English & French. Able to articulate and clearly express ideas both verbally and in written format
Able to think and act strategically
Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry required
Excellent negotiation skills - politically savvy; able to sell ideas and initiatives internally in order to accomplish goals
Good numeric skills
Excellent presentation skills - confident and polished speaker and presenter
Ability to handle large and/or complex corporate accounts
Smart, proactive, self-starter with perpetual sense of urgency and "can do" attitude
Experience selling airline and MRO markets and previous experience in building business relationships in a specific region(s)
Proven ability in developing deal strategy, negotiating, and closing long term agreements
Ability to develop an enduring reputation for integrity, follow-up, and overall responsiveness
Create value-added and a sense of being a strong advocate in the eyes of the customer
Maintain positive relationships with BE at the employee, managerial and executive level
Additional skills
Minimum of 5 years experience working within the Aerospace Hardware sector
Masters degree in Business Management or related area
Ideally 9 years of sales experience
Ability to communicate in Spanish or Italian; both oral and written
