Job purpose: •Manages all operations of after sales and ensures achievement of targets by managing and coaching the service and parts staff and support staff. •Formulates and implements overall service and parts strategy and business plans, tactical and operational activities •Manages all sales in service (workshop body shop and fleet workshop) and parts ( Parts trade / accessories / workshop and retail) Location:Abu Dhabi - Mussafah Key Results Areas: •Creates strategy for after sales department, in line with overall company and group goals. Ensures communication and implementation of strategy throughout Service and Parts function. •Creates and implements annual business plan and budget for sales function, ensuring communication and KPI target setting is cascaded through function.
Externally benchmarks performance against competitors and ensures actions are put in place to create a competitive advantage in the market •Sets HR plans and actively participates in recruitment of all staff within function •In coordination with the Marketing Department, creates annual marketing plans and manages the implementation of these plans taking into account dynamic market forces and competitor activity. •Manages the performance of the team using KPI disciplines and ensures all financial targets are achieved •Sets sales targets (parts sales , labour hours etc.) for all departments within function and ensures plans are in place to achieve targets •Manages parts inventory and purchase target achievement and tactical sales activities to ensure balanced stock levels are maintained and margins are maximised •Negotiates with principles for competitive pricing and tactical support on slow moving stock, and special net price parts targets. •Maintains excellent relations with the principal for all service parts and warranty activities. •Reviews parts pricing and service package prices and market positioning quarterly and recommends pricing changes to the General Manager when needed.
Reviews and approves all tender and bulk sales quotations.
