We're looking for you to make a major contribution to our Sales & Marketing Dept, based in Dubai, UAE.

Assignments:
The Sales Director, within the Company Executive Committee, takes part in defining medium

to long term strategies and objectives, in relation to the existing structures, the potential for

development.

He (she) ensures that sales objectives are reached. He (she) measures the

performance of the sales managers in his department and contributes to their

development

Main Activities :
·

In alignment with the global business, establish and maintain a comprehensive view of the local market, both OEM and OOEM, continually feeding back market data and the suitability/competitiveness of our offerings to the Product Lines. Jointly developed product strategies to ensure that all opportunities are exploited.

Contributing to the definition of the Sales strategy

·

Managing and developing the community of his sales teams: improving areas of expertise and skills

·

.Validating and ensuring the correct development of calls to tender generated by his sales teams. Taking part in risk reviews

·

Negotiating contracts.

·

Proposing and implementing sales development action plans

·

Reporting on the progress of work he (she) is managing to the Executive Committee.

·

Standing guarantor that sales objectives will be reached.

·

Passing on good sales practices.

Functional Know-How:
·

Building Partnerships: Setting up executive agreements between Alstom units on an international scale.

·

Building Credibility: Steering and monitoring continuous improvement in the company's sales methods.

·

Innovating: Defining the communication tools required to promote the company's service activities.

·

Aligning resources: Regularly monitoring the company guidelines and severally decide on adjustments and obligatory regulations.

·

Valuing Difference: Encouraging personnel involvement, especially when calculated risks are taken by his colleagues.

·

Sales Ability/Persuaveners: Emphasising the technical features of the services on offer, their advantages, the

·

benefits they offer to the customer.

·

Negotiating: Accompanying sales managers in the final negotiation phases of major contracts.

·

Driving Business Growth Customer Focus: Defining sales strategy in co-operation with the company's Executive Committee

Qualifications

1.Education, Training

q

Engineering Degree.

q

Masters in Business Administration.

2.

Experience and Work-Related Skills

q

Over 20 years experience in the Power/Energy Sector in areas of operation, maintenance and Sales or Service fields. At least 5 years experience as head of a department.

Fluent in English (oral and written)

Ability to work and act in a multi lingual and multi cultural environment

Computer-literacy (Office and Internet software, statistics software, process mapping software)
