Job Details:Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the organizational learning and performance services for areas throughout CCAD. This position also acts as a resource for clinical instructors and performs various administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the learning and performance function and ensures business alignment with CCAD initiatives
- Oversees the learning management system processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operation
- Supervises clinical instructors to assess competency in role
- Leads, facilitates and holds staff accountable for their professional development
- Develops educational offerings that promote and incorporate patient safety
- Develops and implements systems for creating, managing and distributing knowledge
- Assesses how well learning strategies and results match CCAD goals and strategic intent
- Identifies and provides development opportunities for clinical instructors
- Maintains and enhances professional expertise through self-evaluation and ongoing professional development
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of organizational learning or healthcare education experience is required
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving, advocacy and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or related field, is required
- Master’s degree in Healthcare or related field, is preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, operate audiovisual equipment used during training programs, physically move, lift and carry training equipment and materials, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 50 lbs.
