Responsibilities
o Vision:
- Defines the artistic vision and the graphic style and ensures it follows the Creative Direction
- Is the ambassador of the artistic vision towards all job families and the Editorial team
- Ensures the communication and understanding of the vision within his/her team
o Role towards the Art team:
- Participates in building the team of artists
- Is a mentor for the artists and coaches them
- Follows the work of the team and ensure they reach the expected artistic quality
o Cooperation:
- Supports Game Design and Game Mechanisms with coherent visual choices
- Contributes to the Art pipeline definition
- Is involved in technical decisions
o Quality:
- Participates in controlling the unity of all visual parts: models, atmosphere …
- Set priorities for the quality to be optimized
o Research & Marketing:
- Controls marketing assets and influences their quality and adequacy to the artistic vision
- Makes researches on consumers, competition, current trends
- Nourishes the artistic vision by looking for sources of inspiration out of the video game industry
