Position Summary

The faculty member in this role will work as part of the team responsible for delivering General Education courses in the areas of the Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Studies, Physical and Biological Sciences and Global Studies in accordance with the HCT curriculum. In addition to teaching, this includes preparation of course materials, assessing and monitoring student progress including contribution to system and college assessment moderation processesand contributing to the review and revision of curriculum in conjunction with the system-wide divisional academic team. Organization and management of college and system programs as required will be expected.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree preferred in relevant areas of Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Studies, Physical and Biological Sciences and Global Studies OR Master’s Degree in TEFL/TESOL plus a Degree with a Major in relevant areas of Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Studies, Physical and Biological Sciences and Global Studies.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a College/University setting.
• Terminal degree or PhD is preferred.
