Skills Required :
Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ marine electronics, or 3 years’ diving industry experience as electrical / mechanical technician.
Computer literate.
Must be proficient with IMCA code of practice and work standards.
Must be familiar with diving machinery and systems.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Must be able to work in a team and a remote environment.
Good English communication skills.
Job Description :
Plan maintenance, undertake repair and install all electrical/mechanical diving equipment/machinery in compliance with IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) standards so that equipment is always operational and in good condition.
Ensure that spare parts are available for the diving equipment / machinery as per company procedures.
Ensure that any equipment hired for the contract is prepared ready for return and notify the DOM when it is so.
Update logs, keep records and create accurate maintenance programs and ensure these programs are as per company and IMCA standards.
Attend such training courses as required to operate new specialized equipments.
Compliance in accordance with company codes and HSE standards.
