The Programmer is responsible to keep the software and hardware equipment in good condition and is also accountable to keep the patches and versions up-to-date. He is also required to keep the Campus ERP in good condition to support data. He will also keep the University website up-to-date with the latest information in terms of new technology, flash, online forms etc
- To prepare flow chart with proper ER-Diagram of the new software s. · Analyze, develop code, test, debug, implement, and maintain programs of SUC applications. · Work independently on basic system and programming specifications utilizing established. · Keep the university website up-to-date. · Coordinate and perform the installation of patches, fixes and testing of Skyline ERP. · To assist in developing, systems design in consultation with the computing head and department head or the representative according to their requirement and make it compatible with Skyline ERP system. · To troubleshoot and debug the Skyline ERP system including database. · To collect the online feedback data and disseminate to the IRO. · To create the help files for backend database server. · To create the help files for frontend application software. · To maintain website & development. · Sending everyday reports related to feedback, hall ticket printing, online polling, daily report (Staff) and other as necessary. · Create labels and reports using Crystal Reports for all departments. · Provide assistance to SUC technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, SQL database, or IT issue by themselves. · Occasionally contact users as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem related to portal issues. · Provide general programming assistance to other SUC programmers/projects as may be needed. · Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology. · Refine data and format final product. · Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes. · Test and develop programming modifications. · Write new program code using prescribed specifications. · Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part. · Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of Director. · Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. · Write and maintain programming documentation. · Analyze NT client/server and windows based software solutions compatibility with SUC's requirements. · Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed. · Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference. · Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource. · Other duties as assigned.
