Husband got hired on(will not say what division). He worked 21 days and out of nowhere, he comes back from lunch and was told he was fired.
They gave no explanation as to why. All he could say was "it's done"..

Sounds like exactly what happen to my husband. He was hired on for 21 days and was terminated. No explanation whatsoever. They think they are one of the top oilfield companies, NOT with all these reviews. Pathetic employees from the President down! Someone needs to get a class action lawsuit started on them.

Pros: offers vast online and in classroom training courses on various topics
Cons: very bureaucratic, antiquated work culture. poor communication
In my experience, this company is terrible. There is an extreme lack of communication on all levels within this company - from co-workers on up to management and HR. Almost everyone I've dealt with on the job had very poor follow up skills. My manager was the most spineless person I've ever worked for in my career. Most of the managers at the company – more... will leave you to question how they became managers.

Other things to consider before taking a job with Weatherford:

*Salaried employees who are paid bi-monthly only earn 3.33 hours of vacation per pay check (so you don't even earn a full 8 hours of vacation per month).

*Unlike non-exempt employees, salaried employees are not given sick/personal days as part of the benefits package. You must rely on your manager to give you the ok to take sick days. This can become a problem if you have a manager who wants to you use your vacation for any day you're out sick.

*No flex-schedule (alternative Fridays); unless of course you end up with a lenient manager. But don't count on it.

Overall, my experience is that this company does not value its employees. People are easily disposal at Weatherford. – less

Cons: management hiring all their buddies and then have double standards for everyone
7:00-6:30 busy I haven't learned nothing I didn't already know from working with third party company's management at my plant is lousy the boss hires all his friends and then lets them do as they please most co-workers are friends of the boss and they are all lazy except for a few who work all day the rest sit on the clock or in the bosses office and – more... get paid for nothing hardest part of the day is subjecting myself to having no help most days just to show some production easiest part is going home to the loved ones – less

Terrible company to work for. Work for their stator manufacturing facility and I must say that this place is runn by a bunch of bozo the clowns. There is no direction with what your job duties are, no discipline and absolutely NO MANAGEMENT whatsoever.
