Cost clerk (Current Employee), Rashidiya Dubai UAE – July 17, 2012
Pros: free transportation & uniform
Cons: new staff is earning more than half to the old staff, no increment for long period of service.even holiday still there is operation
As Cost Clerk in Al Futtaim motors for more than 4 yrs,I am responsible for the every day billing for customer payment.Receiving, verifying and processing job costing in accordance w/retail & distributor procedure.Being flexible and working under pressure in this company is what I've learned.Management see to it that he is aware of the invidual situation – more... upto the technician level. No descrimination w/ terms to different races.Being part of one of the biggest company in UAE for more than 4 years, the very hardest part of the job is during end of the month, lots of pressure and stressed because every body is forced to reach the workshop target.Having a newly hired employee also feels me demoralized because they are earning more than half of what I am receiving. For many years of keeping loyal and proving that I am efficient and effective employee still no increment receive, but I know that its the trend here in UAE for salary standard. The good rapprt between co employee is what I really enjoyed in staying in this company and also if I render a very good service for the customer. – less

Big Corporate Company with Bad Management at Guess
Sales Executive at Guess (Former Employee), Dubai – February 14, 2013
Pros: nice co workers
Cons: poor management, low salaries, no training, lack of promotion
Retail Division, especially Guess has poor management and lack of direction. There is a lack of structure to the day , always a challenge to be motivated with little or no encouragement from Senior Management. No experience of running a premium, fast , fashion brand.

Co Workers are nice but under alot of pressure to perform their duties. Co workers – more... are frustrated for not being recognised for thier hard work. There is no training. There is little or no information shared. Managers are not very good and change every month. Salaries have been the same with no increase for over 2 years and promotion opportunity very limited.

HR department is chaotic and poorly managed. There are alot of policies , however would be good if they were implemented and supported the staff more. There is no Incentive or bonus for staff.

Operations department is poor and many projects mis managed and deadlines not met. Poor communications between all the departments – less
